My Green Lab Accountability, Consistency, and Transparency (ACT) Ecolabels are designed to enhance visibility around the environmental impact of laboratory products. To achieve the ACT Ecolabel, select Agilent instruments are independently audited by Verico for their environmental impact. My Green Lab then publishes this third-party-verified information to help both scientists and procurement specialists make more informed, sustainability-minded purchasing decisions. For Agilent, ACT Ecolabels provide a clear baseline and framework for continuous improvement, helping us measure and reduce our environmental impact.

Understanding the ACT Ecolabel 2.0
Expanding on the success of the current ACT Environmental Impact Factor (EIF) 1.0 label, My Green Lab has now released a new ACT Ecolabel 2.0 with an enhanced scoring framework to effectively communicate a wider range of sustainability attributes to end users.
These updates include:
- Enhanced impact-focused scoring with weighted categories to reflect true environmental impact
- Reporting of manufacturer-supported programs for diversion of used product from landfill
- Broader set of evaluation criteria for products, packaging, manufacturing practices, and company greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction commitments
- Expanded PCF reporting and life cycle assessment
- A summary of the manufacturer’s absolute achievements in sustainability and improvements from a previous baseline for accountability in future product design
- Removal of the country-specific label
Agilent is proud to announce that the new Agilent Infinity III LC Series are the first LC systems to receive the ACT Ecolabel 2.0 and share their product carbon footprint (PCF) to customers.
